Flight
If you are flying in from the states please be mindful of the airport you select. Montego Bay Airport aka MBJ is the closest airport to the venue which is located in Runaway Bay approximately 30 minutes from Ocho Rios. The ride from the airport is approximately 1 hour.

For anyone entering the country from Montego Bay Airport I highly recommend you use the hotel shuttle. I strongly advise against depending on airport taxi and discourage entering any strange person’s car. The hotel is 1 hour away from MBJ airport. The Bahia Grand Principe is an all inclusive luxury 5 star family resort located in the beautiful Runaway Bay Area of Jamaica. It is 30 minutes from Ocho Rios and provides a host of on resort activities as well as off the resort excursions. Plan for pleasant and enjoyable all inclusive experience for you and your family. Those with day passes are allowed to enjoy the full offerings of the hotel including meals, drinks, and access to hotel pool areas and entertainment from 11am to the completion of the day.

Matron of Honor
Dianne’s oldest sister and first friend. Lisa has been there for her through thick and thin. They share the same birthday 7 years apart. Lisa is a breath of fresh air, a peace in the storm, a voice of reason, and an inspiration to myself and others. Dianne is honored to have her as her 1st maid of honor.
Maid of Honor
Sandyann affectionately known as Sandy is Dianne’s charismatic, sweet and funny older sister (barely). They are two sides of the same coin and no one has a brighter smile, more genuine heart, and kinder soul. The yin to Dianne’s crazy yang. Dianne is honored to have her second eldest sister as her maid of honor.
Maid of Honor
Tiffany is the coolest, sweetest, most ride or die friend a girl can ask for. Friends for almost 20 years and counting memories and memories abound. From running around as free spirited young women trying to find themselves in this world, to becoming mothers and wives. Just one more amazing memory to add to their roster! Proud to have Tiffany as a maid of honor.
Flower Girl
Dianne’s one and only daughter. The beautiful Leah Alyssa who is her pride and joy. Leah will do the honors of being the flower girl.
Ring Bearer
Dianne’s sweet, handsome young nephews. Both with unique personalities, fearless, confident, intelligent, and bold. They have the important task of securing the ring down the aisle for “Auntie Dianne.”
Mother of the Bride
Narda is the epitome of kindness, patience, and compassion. Her love knows no limits. She goes above and beyond for her children, loved ones and friends with unconditional affection. Dianne unquestionably feels very fortunate to have such a special woman with the biggest heart to call her mother.
Man of Honor
Dianne’s brother in law and brother in love. He has been a source of strength and courage stepping in and stepping up whenever needed. Filling the role of a pseudo father figure throughout the years especially after the passing of Dianne’s father Delroy. Delroy would be smiling down on them as he watches over his daughter walk down the aisle and be given away by a man he so clearly respected, loved, and admired. No other person would be more fitting for this role.
Groomsman
Best friend to Joseph. Years of friendship with unwavering love and respect. He inspires and pushes Joseph to reach his fullest potential with reciprocity. A bond built on trust, strength, and integrity. A brotherhood built on memories and many more to come.
Best Man
Joseph’s youngest son. A bright young man with the same ability as his father to light up a room with his smile. Joseph’s hope is to inspire his son to one day follow in his footsteps to become a good man, father and husband to his own family. James will stand by his father’s side as his best man for now and forever.
Groomsman
Joseph’s oldest brother. As older brothers do they look out for their little brothers. Since birth to adulthood Markquette has and always will, have his little brother’s back. No amount of time nor distance will sever the bond of brotherhood. As Joseph leaves behind his old life to begin a new journey with his wife, Markquette will continue to stand by his side with honor as a groomsman.
Officiant
Dianne’s longtime friend for over 10 years. Meeting in a travel group, the same travel group in which Dianne met her soon to be husband. Life has come full circle. Miss Traci is the epitome of style and grace. She is kind, genuine, a lover of people and God’s creatures. Dianne is ecstatic to have her as her wedding officiant. Dianne has dreamt of this moment for years. This occasion calls for a unique and bold personality and no other person would do. Coming all the way from Texas , Dianne and Joseph are honored to have Traci as their wedding officiant.
The wedding starts at 1pm. All guests are asked to be seated between 12:30pm and 12:45pm so as to minimize all interruptions. ALL DAY PASS GUESTS MUST ARRIVE BETWEEN 11am & 12pm TO CHECK IN WITH GUEST SERVICES AND RECEIVE YOUR RESORT PASS.
All guests are asked to wear pastel or light colors. Eg. ladies pink, light blue, yellow. Men beige, grey, cream pants with a pastel or light colored top. Think “Easter”. Please this is a celebration- no dark colors. The wedding will be located on the beach. Seating area will have hard flooring however sand is to be expected. If wearing heels please plan accordingly. Please plan to wear or bring suitable flat or comfortable shoes/sandals.
The reception will start at 6pm sharp. The exact location at the resort is to be determined and updates will come closer to the wedding. If you are a guest at the resort please feel free to return to your rooms during the free period between the ceremony and reception or explore the resort grounds. If you have a temporary day pass for the wedding please feel welcome to explore the resort and take full advantage of all the resort has to offer including meals/drinks, activities and public areas.
The wedding will be at the Bahia Principe Resort in Runaway Bay Jamaica. The exact location at the resort is to be determined. Updates will be sent prior to the wedding.
The only guests allowed at the wedding and/or resort are those that are on the wedding list and confirmed by the bride or groom. That includes children of all ages. Every guest must be confirmed at least one week prior. Please refrain from bringing additional parties. If there are any additional guests that are brought unexpectedly they may be asked to leave the resort by the staff. If you are unsure of who is confirmed as your guest(s) please reach out to Dianne or Joseph at least 1 week in advance to avoid any confusion on the day of. Dianne and Joseph will not be able to resolve any issues the day of.
Yes! This is a party. There will be domestic beer, wine, sodas as well as an international and top shelf liquor available to all adult guests at the reception.
All meals are preordered for the reception. At this time the main selection is a chicken/pork/beef mixed entree to accommodate the majority. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions (eg. no pork) please inform us at least one week in advance to ensure you are properly accommodated. Fish, vegetarian and kid’s meal selections are available with prior notice.
We kindly ask that everyone arrive on time to both the wedding and reception to avoid interruptions of the bride and groom entrances. We kindly ask that everyone silence their phones during the wedding ceremony. We kindly ask that everyone please allow the professional photographer priority. We welcome everyone taking their own pictures to share however we please ask everyone to be courteous and respectful of our hired photographers and videographers. We respectfully ask that if you have small children that they remain quiet and seated during the ceremony, any speeches and special dances.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony between 2pm-3pm there will be a cocktail hour. Exact location within the resort is to be determined. Expect light refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, wine, & beer while you mingle amongst friends and family. During this time the groomsmen and bridal party will be taking photos at different locations on the resort. If you are an immediate participant of the wedding party please plan accordingly.
The rehearsal dinner is for the immediate wedding party, parents of the wedding party, select family central to the ceremony and our lovely wedding officiant and their spouse. The wedding rehearsal will help coordinate the ceremonies to follow. This rehearsal dinner will occur the day before the wedding on Friday 5/23 at 6pm at a semi-private location on the resort to be announced.
Outside of using the hotel shuttle, we recommend using Shelton’s Island Adventures and Tours for your transportation needs. He is accredited by the Jamaica Board of Tourism and is able to meet all your travel and off the resort excursion needs. Everyone is highly encouraged to download the phone app WhatsApp for free of cost overseas telephone communication. You can use the app for international calls, texts, and video chats free of cost as your US phones will not work in Jamaica unless you have an international plan. Alternatively you can purchase a cheap mobile device or SIM card when in Jamaica if needed.
