How we met

From Best Friends to Soulmates, a Journey Across Oceans

In 2011, two young students crossed paths at the foyer of KC College. Something that started as a friendship, quickly bloomed and soon they became inseparable best friends. Together, they tackled the ups and downs of college life, laughing, supporting each other, and making countless memories. Little did they know then that their story was only the beginning. In 2014, she embarked on a new adventure, moving away to pursue her dreams in medical school. Their friendship, however, only grew stronger as they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Hours on the phone and endless texts became their lifeline, keeping their connection strong, despite the miles. Walking down to 2017, life took him across the world to the United States for higher studies. As he settled into a new country, far from home and even farther from her, he realized something undeniable—she was the one. Distance had only confirmed what his heart already knew: their bond got deeper than friendship, it was love. Finally, in 2021, he returned to the place where it all began: KC College. Right outside the gate, the very spot where they first met, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. Surrounded by familiar streets and cherished memories, she said yes, marking the start of a new chapter. Their love continued to bridge oceans, and in 2023, she went across the world, to the US for the first time, bringing them one step closer to closing the distance for good. Now, they are ready to take the next step, surrounded by loved ones, as they begin their journey as husband and wife.
