Puerto Vallarta

Our Silly Story

It all started with a book exchange...

Once upon a time, in a small town with a cozy coffee shop and a men’s store just across the street, two paths crossed. Healing from a torn ACL, he was working retail at his friend's shop, and she was pulling shots to support her as she went to Ayurvedic school. He came in for coffee on Fridays. The very first time they met, they started chatting about wellness. He was on the Whole30 diet, while she was knee-deep in ancient healing practices and loving every second of it. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, and by the end of it, they’d already planned a book trade. The next time he came in, she handed him "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***", and he gave her "Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers". They giggled, said goodbye, and thought nothing more of it…until Devin got home, opened her new book, and found a little surprise—he’d left his number inside. She smiled and texted him a hello. True to his honest nature, he quickly replied, “Hey! Just so you know, I have a girlfriend.” She giggled. She wasn't really looking for something more than friendship, anyway. So, they became friends. They hung out once or twice. Then, Covid hit, and their friendship paused. When Summer finally rolled around, they happened to run into each other again and decided to grab a quick drink. This time, he mentioned he was newly single. One drink led to weekly hangouts, and before they knew it, every Thursday night at 7 pm was reserved for rock climbing. They’d climb until their hands were sore, then sit in the back of his truck, talking for hours under the stars. As they laughed and swapped stories, something undeniable sparked between them. By the end of summer, their connection had grown into something neither of them could ignore. What began as shared adventures and late-night talks slowly blossomed into something deeper. This was the start of a love story they both knew was just beginning.

FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Think Mexico sunset vibes! Guys, beige slacks and white button up shirts are perfect. Ladies, we’d love to see you in soft pinks, oranges, and purples, or neutrals like beige and champagne. Please avoid bold patterns – we’re going for that soft, dreamy sunset look.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the Villa?

Answer

Taxis and shuttles will be available. We will have more information soon. Stay tuned!

Question

What are the differences in room choices?

Answer

The rooms come in a few tiers depending on their size, view, and whether they have a balcony/terrace. Here's the general break down: Top Tier Large rooms with beautiful private balconies facing the ocean ($525-625 pp) Middle Tier Small to medium size rooms with terraces (some private, some not) facing the ocean or jungle ($450-500 pp) Bottom Tier Varied in size, but without balconies or terraces ($325-375)

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

We'll be entering into the hot and humid season. Bring hats, shades, and anything else that helps you stay cool.
