On the morning of our 13th anniversary, we went to City Hall to officially become husband and wife. As we put on our shoes to leave, we watched the rain pour and lightning flash. We packed our umbrellas and nervously rushed downtown. By the time we got off the train, it was dry! Our two umbrellas were useless. We met with our close friend and witness, Paul, outside of the Clerk’s Office. A full circle moment - Paul was a mutual friend who introduced us in high school. After a short and sweet ceremony held by a short and sweet officiant, we took the train to Long Island to celebrate with immediate family. The day couldn’t have worked out any better, and we’ve been sharing a happy marriage together since. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family in September!
