Our Story
Chris is from Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Mercedes is from Mulvane, Kansas—but their love story began in Phoenix. Chris moved there in 2018 for work, and Mercedes rolled into town in 2021 on a travel nursing assignment. One fateful swipe on Tinder, and the rest is history! From their first date on October 22, 2021, it was clear they were meant to be. They said "I love you" just three weeks later—because why wait when you’ve found your person? Whether they’re belting out their favorite karaoke duets, cheering on their teams, or dancing to live music, Chris and Mercedes know how to have a good time together. On July 15, 2024, Chris got down on one knee, and Mercedes said yes (with zero hesitation)! Now, they can’t wait to kick off this next chapter with a destination wedding on the beautiful beaches of Pensacola.

Beach casual and fun! Think sunset colors, which happen to be our colors- tiffany blue, pink, purple, and orange (Go Tigers for Chris)!

The house has limited parking available so getting an Uber/Lyft or taxi will be the best option.

While we love your kids, unfortunately no, we have to keep to a specific number of guests due to the venue restrictions.

What if I can't make it to Florida?
Answer
We will be doing a live stream of the ceremony!! We were only able to invite a limited number of people to our beach wedding, but we are having a big fun celebration in Kansas on May 3rd to gather with more friends and celebrate Mary and Ron's 40th wedding anniversary.
