How We Met
Desirae and Jeff met through their mutual friends Bree and Jake Muller. Desirae was out at Lake Whatcom one afternoon and Jake found out she was there was well so he asked to come by to say hi. Then pulls up in Jeff's boat with everyone and introduces us and we hung out the rest of the day. Jeff reached out to Desirae the next day and asked to take her on a sushi date and the rest was history. SHOUT OUT TO BREE AND JAKE! :p

Desirae and Jessica have been besties since about 8th grade! They always made a promise to each other that no matter what they will be each others maid of honors. Jessica's time came last year and FINALLY Desirae gets to have Jessica in hers! They will always be there for each other through thick and thin no matter the distance <3

Aliana is Desirae's sister in law, she is married to her younger brother Tylar. Desirae got to be in her wedding and wanted Aliana to be a part of her special day too! Desirae chose her because she is very organized and always has fun unique ideas and of course she's family! :p

Question
ARE KIDS INVITED?
Answer
Yes! We welcome your children to our event. We kindly ask that you make sure to RSVP for each child that will be eating to ensure we have an accurate guest count for catering. Please be aware that there will be alcohol available to guests. If you do not feel comfortable with your child around this it may be best for you to make other arrangements for your child/children.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY HOTEL?
Answer
If you plan on booking a hotel room we recommend booking as soon as you know you are coming. Summer in the Bellingham area is epic so it's a very busy time. There are also lots of Airbnbs in the surrounding areas as well!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Answer
Yes! It is cocktail attire/semi formal. We do ask that you refrain from wearing white, off white, ivory, or cream out of respect to the bride.

PLUS ONES?
Answer
Plus ones are totally fine! If your plus one was not included on your RSVP/invite please reach out to the groom or bride to coordinate an additional person.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Don't worry there will be lots of shade and the reception is in the pavilion that provides open air space for dinner, dancing, etc..

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE CEREMONY?
Answer
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures. Both Desirae and Jeff knew they wanted their guests to have an enjoyable experience. While the couple is taking pictures, guests will make their way to the reception venue (on the same grounds as the ceremony) where they can enjoy cocktail hour before all the other festivities.

Please get us your RSVP by May 1st just to make sure we can let vendors know the accurate count!

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION LOCATIONS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Answer
Yes. The only issue we can see troubling for a wheelchair is the gravel parking lot.
