Best Man
I met the groom in 2020 through a military family community group at church, and I’m proud to call him a friend. I was born and raised in Louisiana and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1993 after graduating high school. During my career, I served in over 40 countries and took part in numerous combat missions before retiring in 2017 after more than two decades of service. In 2010, I married my wife, Lindsay, and together we’ve built a blended family with three children and a grandchild on the way. I am a God-fearing man who loves Jesus Christ and believes he came to earth in human form, taught us how to live in his image, suffered, and died for our sins, saving us from eternal damnation.
Groomsman
Born & raised in Washington. Spent my younger adult years acting a fool, but finally got my act together and graduated with a degree in computer science in 2015. Remarried in 2023 & father of 3 young kids. I spend my days enjoying nature, providing fun experiences for the family & listening to conspiracy theory podcasts.
Groomsman
Brooklyn-born, but raised across the world as a military brat, I've seen and done a lot in this world. But nothing was as fulfilling as marrying by wife of 24 years, Teresa. We raised 4 great kids, and we are blessed to have our granddaughter as well, making us the coolest grandparents, ever(subject to debate!). As a former USAF SERE Instructor, I had the privilege of serving our great nation, as well as continuing public service as a Peace Officer in NY. Currently, I enjoy my career as a Client Portfolio Manager with the premier cancer clinic and research center in Seattle (enduring a grueling daily commute) serving now in the private sector. As a deacon with our long-time church, I serve the Lord as I have lived thus far in protecting others. Im honored to be counted among friends and look forward to seeing an enduring love bloom for both bride and groom!
Groomsman
Born and raised in Minnesota. Life long Vikings fan and is also a U.S. Army veteran. I have known the groom for 7 plus years and at times he is very taxing.
Groomsman
Retired Executive Chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. I'm a 25 year,(also retired sadly), white water rafting thrillseeker. I've been blessed with my son, Matthew, daughter, Kelli, and granddaughter Bailyn. I met Derrick at Motion Church, Puyallup, where we became not only good friends, but also Brother's in Christ.
Point Ruston is one of the places we as a couple have often spent time at. Walking the Docks or downtown enjoying the scenery by the water is just beautiful. Remember to take a sweater if you decided to go out for a stroll. Also enjoy some of the restaurants out there.
This is another place that is great to visit, the gardens are beautiful as well as the buildings surrounding them. Definitely check it out while you are in town.
Seattle is a sight to see if you have not yet visited. We have a Pikes Place market, The Bubblegum Wall, Space Needle and many more sightings. Fair Warning, if you decide to head on up there to visit here is some tips. Plan your Day out ahead of time, Traffic is a lot. Parking in the city is very limited and pricey, wear comfortable shoes. If you think it won't rain, re-think that and just take the jacket or umbrella... Just a few tips to help you out other than that enjoy your stay and visit.
Hard at work on these... Talk soon.
