Kevin and I first met the summer before our junior year of college. At first, it was just passing conversations and brief interactions nothing out of the ordinary. So I thought… What I didn’t realize was that the random roommates I had chosen that year were some of Kevin’s closest friends. Suddenly, he was around more often in shared spaces, in late-night laughter, study sessions & in the quiet comfort of our growing friendship. As we spent more time together, something began to shift. What started as casual hangouts & helping Kevin complete his uber eats run turned into moments we looked forward to and feelings we couldn’t ignore. We soon discovered that back home, we lived just a few cities apart. Our paths had crossed countless times as kids and teens without ever knowing what the future had in store. Then one night, during winter break, we snuck off to the beach under the stars. With the waves whispering nearby, Kevin gathered all his courage and kissed me. It was unexpected. It was perfect. It was magic! A few weeks later, he asked me to be his girlfriend and without hesitation, I said yes. Years passed, and so did seasons of love, growth, and adventure. Then, on December 17th, 2023, Kevin brought me back to the snow-covered spot where we had our first date, and asked me to marry him. With a full heart, I said yes, duh! Now, we’re ready to start forever. We’ll be saying “I do” on August 28th, 2025 surrounded by the people we love, and the story that brought us here.
