FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

More details about timing will be shared with the formal invitation and updated here as necessary.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, it’s an easy one-minute walk across the street from City Hall to the War Memorial Veterans Building where we will be hosting a light reception in their Education Studio on the 4th floor. San Francisco City Hall offers ADA-accessible entrances and ramps, and the reception at the SF War Memorial Veterans Building Education Studio is accessible via elevator.

Question

What should we expect at the reception?

Answer

The reception will be a standing cocktail-style gathering with passed appetizers and food stations designed for mingling and celebrating together.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in elevated cocktail attire suited to the grand settings of City Hall and the Veterans Building.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have secured room blocks at two nearby hotels for our guests. Booking links and details will be shared here once they become available. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport and about 25–30 minutes from the wedding venues. If you plan to book accommodations before then, we recommend staying in the Civic Center, Hayes Valley, or Union Square neighborhoods, which are all convenient to the wedding venues.

Question

Is Outside Lands part of the wedding?

Answer

Not officially! Our ceremony and reception are the main celebration. Later in the day, we’ll personally be heading to Outside Lands to continue the fun. Anyone who already plans to attend is welcome to join us there, but this portion of the day is completely optional.

Question

Do I need a ticket for Outside Lands?

Answer

Yes. Outside Lands Music Festival is a separate public event and requires its own festival ticket. Single-Day tickets go on sale 3/12 at 12PM PT. Please refer to the official Outside Lands website for additional information and ticket purchase. Please feel free to reach out to us with any unanswered questions — We may or may not consider ourselves Outside Lands veterans at this point ;-) Website: https://sfoutsidelands.com/

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who wish to contribute, we’re curating a small registry and a few experience funds for our next chapter together. Details will be shared here soon.

Question

More questions coming soon!

Answer

We’ll continue adding helpful details here as plans come together, so feel free to check back. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Delanie or Alex with any questions you may have.
