When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due by no later than May 1, 2026. Submitting you RSVP helps us determine how many guests will be attending, which in turn affects the arrangements for food, seating, and other logistics.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm. Conveniently, guest hotel is on the same property where the ceremony will be taking place. Guest can start heading down to the ceremony around 2:15pm/2:30pm. We ask that all guest be seated at 2:45pm so that we won't have any disturbances once the ceremony starts.

Is there a dress code?

There is no strict dress code, BUT formal wear is preferred.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Guest are allowed to bring a plus one. If you are a guest on the guest list and are planning to bring a guest with you, please make sure you put your guest(s) name under your RSVP here on the website.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes kids are welcome. If you plan on bring children, please add them under your RSVP and notate that this guest is a child. This is important for the bride and groom to know because the price for dinner for a child is different from the dinner price for an adult. Also, children are welcome to attend all events which include the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We have a room block for all of our guest. To book a room within our block and take advantage of the special rate, contact our wedding planner Oshana Brooks.

Who do I contact for hotel accomodations?

For all travel and hotel accommodation needs, you will contact Oshana Brooks. Her email is obrooks1@gdstravelsolutions.com. Or you can reach via cell phone at 248-361-2057. When you reach out, please include in you email or text that you are looking book your flight and room for the Davis wedding and she will take care of you from there.

When are payments required?

Answer

When working directly with our wedding planner Oshana, you have the freedom to make payments that fits your budget. You can make payments weekly, monthly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, or whatever fits your budget. All invoices will need to be paid in full 30 days prior to the wedding.

Do we have to book our room with the wedding planner?

Answer

No. No one is required to book their flights and/or hotel with the wedding planner. But all guests should know that, should you book your flights and hotel on your own, prices will be different. Guest also will not be able to contact the wedding planner for any information or use her resources if they are booking their own room and flight directly with the airline and hotel.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Cocktail hour will start promptly after the ceremony at 4pm. The reception will follow promptly at 5pm. Both events will be held at the Brisa del Mar room. These events are also on the venue property. There will be directions provided on there to get to the cocktail hour and reception.

How long will the reception last?

The reception will happen from 5pm to 11pm.
