Nick’s Perspective: Crys and I had a couple of encounters, unknowingly, for a couple of years before actually meeting each other. Leave it to me, I’d say that she’s been stalking me since she first saw me on stage modeling a suit at this big ministry event in 2019. Ever since then, she’s been wanting to marry a brother. (LOL) I peeped her at another ministry event in 2020, across this dark room, and it appeared there was a spotlight on her as she lifted her hands to receive a word from GOD. For two years I wondered where she was, thinking she was someone else, until one day she saw a post from my business page and we eventually connected on social media. After the first couple of conversations I was hooked, especially when she revealed to me that she was who I saw across a dark room two years prior. I was blown away. Crys’ Perspective: Nick and I have vastly different versions of how we met, but I have the REAL STORY. If you hear his perspective he will say I stalked him but the truth is he had a relentless pursuit of me since we saw each other at a church service a few years ago in Virginia. I remember coming across his Phreshwind business page thinking “whoever is creating these post really loves God and has great taste.” I had no idea that the man behind the page would be the man I’d spend the rest of my life with. Eventually he found my personal page, asked for my phone number and we talked for at least 8 hours during our first conversation. That same month Nick asked me to go on a date with him in Chicago and we toured the city to the sky deck of Chicago, walked to a tourist spot called the bean and grabbed lunch at a burger placed called park grill. While we were eating Nick said “I’ve been looking for you for two years since that church service” and we both laughed at how we were hidden in plain sight with each other. After roughly a month of us dating long distance we fell in love and Nick told me at one of our favorite dinner spots “I love you & you’re going to be my wife” and we’ve been inseparable since.
