The U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in Charlotte, NC, is a massive outdoor recreation and adventure facility covering 1,300 acres along the Catawba River. The USNWC offers a huge variety of outdoor activities, including: Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking & Canoeing, Paddleboarding, Hiking Trails, Mountain Biking, Ropes Courses & Rock Climbing, and Zip-Lining. The USNWC has several great food and drink options, making it a great spot to hang out even if you’re not participating in the activities. Parking: $12 per vehicle, some activities cost extra.
