Grace and Tyler moved to Kaua'i to be a part of the very first semester of Calvary Bible Institute Kaua'i in January of 2023. Grace was on staff and Tyler was the final student accepted (praise the Lord!!!). Tyler and Grace definitely kept their distance the first year of knowing eachother barring a few conversations and intense volleyball and spikeball games. Grace enjoyed getting under Tyler's skin with a myriad of questions and Tyler enjoyed avoiding those very questions. Mostly they got to learn each other's character. They saw eachother in highs and lows, great times and tough times, health and sickness (in various third world countries on mission trips haha!). The following year (2024) Tyler decided to join the team working for the school. Grace and Tyler were now coworkers. Uh oh. Not long after he joins the team, Tyler begins praying about Grace and that if the Lord wills, He bring them together. Little did he know, Grace started praying the same thing. Almost 6 months later, they started dating. The next day they were separated for summer break. Luckily enough, Grace’s family and Tyler’s family were able to meet and spend time together in Colorado to support Kayley’s insane talent on the soccer field. Here we are in 2025! They’re engaged! God is good and has so proven his faithfulness and goodness above and beyond their wildest dreams. They’re getting married in Northern California with their close family and friends and heading back to Kaua’i shortly after to continue their ministry the Lord has called them too! We will see what He does with them in their future ,, we know it will be above and beyond all they could ask or think! “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Semi-Formal with a Wildflower Twist 🌸 Think garden party meets wedding chic! We’d love for you to dress semi-formal-ish — a step up from casual, but no need for tuxes or ball gowns. Feel free to play with florals, soft colors, and flowy fabrics that match our wildflower vibe. Most importantly, wear something you feel good and comfortable in — dancing shoes encouraged!
This is not an average wedding style! We will be having a wedding ceremony-sandwich all in the same location! We will start with fellowship time for everyone to get to know each other, ceremony, and more hangout time afterward! There will be snackies before the ceremony and a dinner catered in after.
