We crossed paths in Las Vegas, Nevada when David was in town for a softball league competition. Our meeting was serendipitous, but it felt like destiny had brought us together.
On December 24th, 2022, Thuriya and I had initially planned to spend time with my family in Williamsburg, Virginia. However, fate had a different idea. We found ourselves driving into Colonial Williamsburg for a tour, only to have it canceled due to the bitterly cold weather. But the cold wasn't going to deter me. Undaunted, I took Thuriya on an impromptu, self-guided tour behind the mayor's mansion in the charming gardens. It was there, in that serene setting, that I mustered the courage to ask him to be my husband. His resounding "YES" warmed my heart more than any winter day ever could.

The Canal Walk is part of the Indiana Central Canal, which was dug in the early 1800s, in an effort to facilitate interstate commerce. Today, the refurbished Canal Walk (stretching north through White River State Park to 11th Street) serves the downtown community as a waterside promenade for walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers (while the canal itself includes a steady stream of pedal boats, which may be rented west of the Indiana State Museum).

We would love for our guests to join us in celebrating this special day in style. To make it easy, we've chosen a dress code to help everyone feel comfortable and coordinated. For Men: We kindly request that men wear black or dark suits. This classic choice adds an elegant touch to our celebration. For Women: We invite our female guests to wear dresses of their choice. Whether it's a chic cocktail dress or a formal gown, feel free to showcase your personal style.
Due to limited space and budget considerations, we are only able to accommodate plus ones on a case-by-case basis. While we would love to celebrate with all of your loved ones, these constraints have necessitated a careful approach to our guest list. If you have a specific situation or request regarding a plus one, please reach out to us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate it based on our available resources.
