On March 27, 2022, fate brought us together at a going-away party for our brother Travis. Travis was on FaceTime with David when he casually asked, “Do you know Mariesha?” David replied, “No, but I’m on my way.” And just like that, destiny set its course. David pulled up to the kickback, and from the moment we met, we were inseparable. Our connection was instant, and our bond only grew stronger with time. As a mother of four and a father of one, we took our time blending our families. After three months, we knew it was the right moment for our children to meet, and from there, we built a beautiful life together. Over the years, we traveled, attended concerts, and embraced every moment—cherishing our love, our children, and the joy we found in one another. Then, on Christmas Day 2023, in front of our closest friends and family, David got down on one knee and asked Mariesha to be his wife. With hearts full of love and excitement for the future, we are thrilled to continue this journey together as one.
