We recommend staying in Carmel-by-the-Sea (shuttle departure point)! You can fly directly to Carmel-by-the-Sea via Monterey Regional Airport (MRY). MRY has direct flights from Dallas, LA, San Diego, and San Francisco, which can serve as connections to other airports as well. Flight options can be limited, if you plan on flying in directly, we recommend booking in advance. Alternatively, Carmel-by-the-Sea is a roughly 2-hour drive from San Francisco. On the day of the wedding, shuttles to the venue will depart from Carmel Plaza (along Junipero Street) at 2:30 PM. The wedding venue can only be reached via shuttle. Uber and Lyft both serve the surrounding area, as well as a number of taxi companies such as Yellow Cab Company and Central Coast Cab Co. You do not need to rent a car! We've compiled a list of hotels below that are less than a 10 minute walk from both our shuttle departure point and welcome party!
