Cocktail Garden Attire: Dress to impress with a touch of garden charm—ladies, think cocktail-length dresses in florals or soft pastels paired with wedges or dressy flats; gents, opt for lightweight suits or smart separates in soft tones like beige or blue. Ties are optional, but style is encouraged! Comfortable, polished footwear is key for mingling on the lawn.
We’re so excited to celebrate with you at Quiet Meadow Farm! Our ceremony will take place outdoors surrounded by nature, followed by a cozy indoor reception with open access to the outdoor patio and grassy lawn for mingling and enjoying the evening air. Kick off the evening with a relaxed cocktail hour featuring handcrafted drinks and light bites. We will start the reception with first dances and shortly after savor a delicious dinner from a local artisan pizza truck serving up fresh, wood-fired favorites. As the evening unfolds, we’ll gather for heartfelt toasts with a few words from our loved ones before opening up the floor for a night of celebration and dancing. For dessert, indulge in creamy gelato and visit the barista bar for expertly crafted coffee drinks. An open bar will be available throughout the night from 5–9 PM—come ready to toast, dance, and celebrate under the stars!

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, so we ask guests to plan on arriving between 3:30–3:45pm to allow plenty of time to park, get settled, and find a seat. We will not be getting a legal marriage certificate, as Mary is already legally married to Randy. While the law doesn’t currently recognize more than one marriage, that doesn’t change the depth of our love or the meaning of this celebration. For us, this wedding is about honoring our commitment, our chosen family, and the life we’re building together. We know that polyamory may be new to some of our guests, and we welcome you with open hearts and open minds. Our relationship is built on love, honesty, and mutual respect—and we’re so grateful to share this moment with people who support us. If you’re curious to learn more about polyamory or the idea of chosen family, we invite you to explore this beginner-friendly guide: https://findpoly.com/blog/polyamory-101-a-beginners-guide-to-ethical-non-monogamy/. This day is a celebration of connection in all its beautiful forms, and we’re thrilled to have you be part of it.
We won’t be providing group transportation but getting to and from the venue is easy! Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area and are a great option for convenience and flexibility if you are not renting a vehicle. We recommend coordinating with fellow guests if you'd like to share a ride!
We’re so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people! If your invitation includes a plus one, their name (or “and Guest”) will be listed on the envelope or online RSVP. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo—we wish we could invite everyone, but we’re keeping things intimate. Thank you for understanding!
Yes! We’ve invited the little ones in our families to join the celebration, and we can’t wait to see them there. If your children are included on your invitation, they’re absolutely welcome! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you enjoy a night off and celebrate with us kid-free. Thank you for understanding as we create a joyful day for guests of all ages!
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve invited our wonderful friend & photographer Britannie to capture all of the special moments, and we’d love for you to be fully present with us. Help us create an unplugged, heartfelt experience—we promise to share the beautiful photos afterward!
Yes! While we’re hoping for beautiful spring weather, we do have a backup plan. Any outdoor portions of the day—like the ceremony—can be moved indoors if needed, so the celebration will go on rain or shine. Come ready to celebrate, no matter what the skies bring!
May in Salt Lake City is usually lovely, with daytime highs in the 60s to 70s °F (15–25 °C) and cooler evenings. That said, spring can be a little unpredictable! We recommend packing: - A light jacket or wrap for the evening - Comfortable shoes for walking on grass or gravel - Sunglasses and sunscreen for sunny moments - An umbrella or raincoat, just in case
