This will be an outdoor celebration, so plan your footwear accordingly - heels may struggle, but dancing is highly encouraged and laughing is non-negotiable.

Dress Code: Whimsical Rock n’ Roll! That is, think romantic meets a little rebellious - flowy dresses, vintage vibes, soft florals, lace, velvet, boots, leather, or a great suit with personality. Have fun with it - we love individuality. Just FYI: John WILL be wearing a suit and Dani a wedding dress. Do with that information what you will!

If you’re traveling from out of town, here are a few tips to help you plan:
We recommend O'Hare International Airport over Midway airport (much closer to the wedding). You can take the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) Blue Line train from O'Hare to Rosemont station, then take a bus towards Elgin and get off at Randall Rd station. There are multiple hotels nearby including Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elgin, IL (which shares a parking lot with the Randall Rd station). The wedding venue is 8-12 minutes by car from this hotel (easy if you're renting a car or grabbing a Uber/Lyft).
BUSES DO NOT RUN FROM ELGIN TO ROSEMONT ON SUNDAYS! Please be prepared for this - car rental or cab/car service is the best alternative!
Plenty of other cool cities nearby, as well (St. Charles is pretty dreamy, but pricier). Plenty of cool things to explore in Elgin while you're in town, too (like Rediscover Records where John worked/sometimes works).
