It was the year 2021, The year the greatest blessing JC would ever receive... That blessing would be the lovely Daniela Portillo moving to the great city of Dallas, Texas... She was a woman who was driven by her faith and knew the moment she moved from San Antonio finding a home church in the Bible Belt of DFW was vital. Prior to moving to Dallas, Daniela was recommended by a pastor in San Antonio to visit Fellowship Church. A now dear friend, reached out at that time she first moved and invited Daniela to a young adults Christmas Party, and that is where Daniela and JC officially met (JC of course, doesn't remember). Fast forward to the summer of 2022... After several months of serving alongside one another on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night's at the youth ministry. JC, knowing Daniela was way out of his league finally asked her on a date on July 2nd, 2022. From that moment on, history would be made.
