We will be providing a buffet-style dinner and drinks. Weather permitting, we will have the wedding outside on the beach and will provide handicap accessible transport to and from the beach.

This will be a casual brunch the morning after our official "wedding" date
If you can't make it to the whole weekend, it's fine if you want to just pop by for the brunch the following Sunday morning. We'll be having waffles, mimosas, and other breakfasty things. Hopefully we will be following brunch with a relaxing beach day, weather permitting. Bring a bottle of champagne ;)

What should I bring/wear?

It’s the beach, so the weather is unpredictable! Definitely bring something warm to put on, something comfortable, and a bathing suit!

For the wedding day, please try to get to the house around 4:30. We will have cocktails and other refreshments available. The ceremony will hopefully take place at 5/5:30 If you are coming to brunch, we will be starting around 11:30 am on Sunday - kids are welcome

Oak Island has a ton of different VRBO and AirBnB options that can be super cheap and very accessible. There are a lot of pet-friendly options on the island as well, and the beach is dog-friendly year-round. If you want to coordinate housing with other family members, get in contact with Russell's mom or Dani's mom to organize your trip. If you are a friend of Russell & Dani's from out of town, contact one of us and we will see what we can do. Our original plan was to have friends in our house, but depending on the turnout we may have to get some other houses together.
