Our story begins at Binghamton University, where Carolyn and Dan lived in apartment units stacked directly on top of each other. As good neighbors do, Carolyn and her roommates baked cookies to introduce themselves... unfortunately, they ended up all over the floor before anyone got to taste them. When they knocked on his door, Dan was so distracted by their flustered introduction that he dropped his dinner on the floor too! The next morning, Dan and Carolyn were both coincidentally headed out at the same time and reintroduced themselves without any food mishaps. They walked down to campus together and bonded over the size of the hill they had to climb, marking the beginning of a wonderful journey together. 👫
Dan quickly learned that the way into Carolyn's heart was with good food. They had their first official date at Lost Dog Cafe, where they consumed the first of (way too) many plates of pasta a la vodka together. 🍝
Fast forward 3 years and the couple bid each other temporary goodbyes as Dan headed to The Big Apple 🍎 and Carolyn to Charm City ✨ to begin their adulting careers.
But wait! Long distance was temporary as well. In the chaos of a global pandemic, Carolyn found her way back to NYC and the couple finally reunited. A few hectic months later, Carolyn moved into Dan's apartment and brought enough pots and pans to feed an army.👩🍳
After 10 wonderful years growing up together, Dan got on one knee and finally popped the question. Now the happy couple can't wait to celebrate the next phase of their love story with you at their upcoming wedding! 💍
