How We Met

All because of a paddle

We met at Wawayanda State Park while kayaking. Cindy was out with her friend Robin as Walter was coming in. Cindy noticed Walter's unique boat and asked "What is that?". They struck up a conversation. When Cindy and Robin were getting their boats in the water Cindy realized she forgot her paddle. Walter had a spare in his trunk he had picked up a year earlier. The rest is history.

We welcome you to join us at the historic Erie Trackside Manor. For those who need a room, the Erie offers 10 hotel rooms on site. Just as an FYI there is no elevator as it is a historic building. We look forward to seeing you at 4 pm.

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

We are providing all the food and fanfare. There will be a cash bar for those who would like a cocktail. Due to limited venue space, adults only please. We look forward to celebrating with everyone.

Travel

The Erie has 10 hotel rooms. Being this is a historic building there are no elevators. It is only $110 per night. You don't have to mention the reception, just go ahead and reserve a room. Anyone traveling from out of town may want to consider staying in one of their rooms. All the rooms are SOLD OUT. We recommend doing a Goggle Seach for hotels near Milford or Matamoras PA as well as near Middletown, NY.

This is the same location as the reception dinner. So no travel. There is street parking as well as a public parking lot 1 block over and is visible from the venue. This lot is accessible from Front Street.

As you all know, we are in the process of combining two households. If you choose to give a gift we just ask that it be cash. Giving a gift is entirely up to you.
