We met the modern way — on Hinge! Gibrhann hearted Cynthia first (great decision), and after a FaceTime call, we had our first date at Elephant & Castle… on St. Patrick’s Day, without realizing it. 🍀 We noticed the sea of green, but we were too busy enjoying each other to care. From that day on, it just felt right. We took our time, made it official, and have been inseparable ever since — traveling, laughing, and building a beautiful life together. Now, we're saying yes to forever — and still grateful for that one little heart. 🩵

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
You should plan to get to Orso's by 4pm/4:15pm the latest. Our Ceremony will start at 4:30pm so get there early to grab a seat.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Dress Code: Classic Cocktail Orso’s is polished but cozy — the perfect excuse to dress up and feel fabulous! Think chic dresses or dressy separates for ladies, and sharp suits or blazers for gents. With part of the party on a garden patio, stylish layers and comfy shoes are your best friends. Let’s look great and have fun!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We don’t have arranged transportation, but Chicago has plenty of easy options! Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are widely available, and public transit (CTA trains and buses) is reliable and convenient. Many hotels are also within a short drive or walk to the ceremony and reception venues. If you plan to drive, please note that parking in downtown Chicago can be limited and pricey.

Yes! We’re registered on Amazon and Zola for those who prefer to shop. However, your presence means the most to us, and if you'd like, cash or contributions to our honeymoon fund are very appreciated.
