We first met at a club event during college and didn’t think much of it, just the usual “oh, that person seems nice”. We met again at another outdoor event for the same club and it quickly became "I'm interested in that person".

On our first trip together to New York city with 2 friends, we ordered a one-person serving at an Omakase restaurant for $100 and split among 4 of us because we were broke students. :)

When we were with his family in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, he wanted to propose on a Ferris Wheel while his family left us to be on our own. Little did he knew, it was fairly obvious that his family did that and that the ring box inside his pocket was very noticeable. Just like that, we went on the ride and were both aware of what was about to happen. :)
