Our Story

Stephen and Megan were introduced through mutual cop friends. Stephen and Megan had instant chemistry that all of their friends noticed before they even did. One night, Stephen and Megan stayed up until the sun came up just talking and getting to know each other. Megan, unbeknownst to her, made a statement that she would come to regret saying. Megan told Stephen that she thought it takes about “3 years to really get to know someone”. Stephen took that statement as, “he has to wait 3 years” before asking Megan to marry him. So here we are folks. A man true to his word, 3 years down the road, he asked Megan to marry him and she yelled, “FINALLY!” Megan and Stephen have already lived together for about 2 and a half years. Stephen has owned his own house since he was 20 years old and was serious enough about Megan that he refinanced the house and put it in both of their names way before the engagement! Now they live together in their cute little house with their two dogs where they LOVE to host annual Halloween parties and other holidays! They are two people that are so similar in so many ways and the chemistry is unmatched. They are so excited for their future together and they hope you can make it to help them celebrate their love for each other! Fun fact: they picked the date of September 6th because 9/06 (906) is a cop code for “emergency back-up” and they will forever be each other’s back up. Cute AND cliché right??🥰

Maid of Honor

Destinee and Megan met in college at GCU. They played lacrosse together and eventually became roommates and shared a dorm. They have been friends for 8 years and counting! Destinee is Megan’s oldest friend and is her maid of honor. Destinee even went to high school with Stephen, although they never really knew each other at that time.

Sarah and Megan are both cops engaged to other cops. Sarah and her fiancé Kaden have gone on several Disney trips with Megan and Stephen and they all love going to country thunder together. Sarah and Megan get bi-monthly pedicures to catch up and have some much needed girl time.

Brooke Tabacco

Brooke works at Chandler PD with Megan on the civilian side of the PD. She first met Megan when she went on a ride along and they clicked instantly! Brooke has since come over to Megan and Stephen’s house for wine nights and they are great friends.

Macey, Megan, and Stephen have known each other for quite a few years now. Tyler (mutual friend of Megan and Stephen) has a cousin Trent, and Macey and Trent have been together for years! Macey and Trent are part of our country thunder group and friend group that have participated in many adventures together over the years!

Ray was Stephen’s parter at Phoenix PD for a while. They love to get into shenanigans both at work and outside of work.

Josh is Stephen’s eldest brother. The first time we went out to dinner with Josh and Gabby, we went to The Farm restaurant which is later the same restaurant Stephen took me the night he proposed!

Michael is Stephen’s second eldest brother. Michael is a fire fighter/EMT and he and Stephen love talking about the difference between first responders (police) and second responders (firefighters).

Matt Fritz

Matt is Megan’s brother. Matt and Stephen get along like peas and carrots. They have similar sense of humor and like the same things.

Ben Wycoff

Ben is closest to Stephen in age. Get Stephen and Ben together in a room and they will talk about guns, cop stuff, guns, and more cop stuff for hours on end.

Our registry includes items you can choose from that will ship directly to our house so you don’t have to bring it on the wedding day! If you don’t love any of the items, we also have a cash fund you can deposit here on this website to help with our honeymoon! If you want to bring gifts or cards on the wedding day, you’re more than welcome. Whatever is easiest! We also realize some of the items in the registry are a bit pricey so if some of you want to go in on a gift together that works too! We appreciate anything and everything!

Our office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 10:00PM EST and Saturday – Sunday 9:00 – 9:00PM EST. Here are a few reminders for guest when booking reservations: A 2 night minimum is required for all reservations. Reservations will not be accepted that do not meet the minimum night requirement. One night plus tax is due to reserve a room. The remaining balance will be due at check-in. A security deposit of $300.00 is required per reservation. Deposit will be released at check-out if there are no incidentals or damages to rooms or property. Guests may cancel up to fourteen (14) days prior to arrival to receive a full refund of their deposit. Reservations cancelled less than fourteen (14) days from the day of arrival, no shows and early departures will not receive any refunds. If making reservations by phone, guests must call the group phone (1-800-347-9092) number to receive the discounted rate. You must be 21 or older to check-in. Daily housekeeping is not included.
