Luxembourg Airport
If you arrive by plane, we recommend flying directly to Luxembourg. The airport is located just outside of the city, less then 30 minutes from the City Centre by bus or tram. Public transport is free in Luxembourg. Taxis can be very expensive, if needed book via Uber/Webtaxi.
Travel Note
Where to stay
We suggest to book a hotel in or around the City Centre, particularly the areas of Ville Haute, Belair, Limpertsberg and Gare are conveniently located. Public transport in Luxembourg is free so staying anywhere in the city will be fine.

Pétrusse Valley
Gorgeous valley that runs through the heart of the city along the Petrusse River. A good place to walk and enjoy nature.

Located in the City Centre you shouldn't miss the Grand Ducal Palace, the official residence of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
Casemates du Bock
Explore Luxembourg's history as a fortification by visiting the Bock Casemates, a subterranean defence system made up of kilometres of tunnels, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Schueberfouer
Luxembourg's annual fun fair will be in full swing during your visit. Get on one of the many rides, nibble on cotton candy and win a prize! To get the full Luxembourger experience grab a mettwurst or the Luxembourg staple "gromperekichelcher". From the Great Wheel you will also have a splendid view of the city.
Rives de Clausen
19th Century Industrial Area, now home to multiple great restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs in an iconic scenery.
Urban Bar & Restaurant
If you fancy a good burger or want to try a pint of one of the local beers, visit Urban on the city's party street.
