Crystal and JaKobi met in the summer of 2010 when they were asked to be in the bridal party of their friends' wedding. They were matched together as bridesmaid and groomsmen and walked down the aisle together. They became fast friends because they share a similar sense of humor and love to dance. 11 years later, after finding themselves unexpectedly single, they began casually dating. A concert here, a museum exhibit opening there and on July 18, 2021, they decided to make it official. After 3 years of dating, JaKobi proposed to Crystal on the ferris wheel at the Indiana State Fair.
