How do I get around on the island?

Answer

Most people park their cars and rent a golf cart to drive around the island. It is not required, but recommended for the full Fripp experience. Some of the rental homes come with a golf cart, so be sure to double check! Fripp Island Excursions is the only golf cart rental service on the island and offers 4- and 6-seat golf cart rentals at weekly and hourly rates. To rent a golf cart, give the excursions office a call at 843-838-1518.

Do I get a discount on rental properties?

Yes!! Please use code:Crocker-Breece when completing your reservation online. Some rental homes allow 10% off when using the code.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is beach casual. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our ceremony will take place on a beach, we recommend avoiding high heels or shoes all together.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we all will be taking pictures on the beach for less than an hour. Guests can drive over to the reception hall (about 5 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7pm.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place close to each other. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving at both locations for cars and for golf carts.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We are hosting a welcome party on Friday 4/5 at 6:30pm. We will be serving lots of appetizers and snacks. We’re also mixing up some fun cocktails, but feel free to bring your drink of choice. Brunch will be served at 11am on 4/7. Traditional breakfast choices will be available and we’ll have a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar for those that would like to keep celebrating!

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving meats, cheeses and crackers during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious buffet dinner. A low country boil will be prepared, along with chicken, fried flounder and plenty of sides, and of course dessert! It’s not a party without cake!

Yes! Please remember to bring some cash to tip the fabulous bartenders!
