The weather in late February on the Island is unpredictable but we plan to have most of our festivities outdoors. The day will begin with a family style breakfast in the main house. For those interested, after breakfast we will take a group hike down to Fort Casey to explore and watch the water for Whales and Sea Lions! After returning to the house late morning, everyone will have a few hours to themselves to enjoy ala carte lunch options and get ready for the wedding. There will be lawn games and drinks before a sunset ceremony on the coast. We plan to share our first dance next to the bonfire and celebrate the rest of the night away with all of you! Cozy Coastal is a dress code that fits somewhere in between Garden and Cozy Cocktail attire and is solely for the wedding portion of the weekend. Heels might be difficult because the lawn and beach are very uneven. We want you to prioritize your comfort over everything so as long as you're comfortable, we're sure you'll look great!

Sea-Tac Airport
This is the main airport for the area so most, if not all, of you will land there! Once you land, the Venue is about an hour drive and a scenic ferry ride away! From Sea-Tac you will have two options for transportation to the Venue. 1. Rent a Car - Allows for the most flexibility in your schedule - Can share with multiple guests if arriving around the same time so has the potential to be more cost effective - Allows you to explore Whidbey Island on your own time on your way to/from venue 2. SeaTac to Whidbey Island Shuttle - The shuttle goes to and from the island multiple times a day but will limit your schedule depending on when your flight arrives/departs - Shuttle boards right at the airport and drops you off in Coupeville where you can Uber/Lyft to Venue - Reservations & Group Pricing Available Upon Request - Shuttle schedule/pricing is already posted through our wedding weekend: https://www.seatacshuttle.com/schedule-route/ *There is another airport much closer to the Venue called Paine Field. This airport is more like the Bloomington/Peoria airports with cost effective flights to various west coast locations. This might be a cost effective option for our Pheonix, AZ guests.
House Or Rental
Colonel's House
We have rented a beautiful oceanfront property for Friday 2/21/25 through Sunday 2/23/25 where all guests will stay with us. The portion of the property we are renting has two houses and a total of 12 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with more than enough room for all our guests to stay comfortably. All of the weekend's festivities will be on the property so you will have no need to leave unless you want to! Please check back closer to the wedding date for a list of what items you can expect to be in your bedroom/bathroom. *We are renting half of the property starting on Thursday 2/20/23 to begin setting up for the weekend so if traveling on Thursday works better for your schedule, please let us know and we can house you a night early no problem!
