FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi formal/dressy casual attire. Guys, you don’t have to wear a full suit and a tie, but you know you like having an excuse to look good! However, if that doesn’t sound like you, there’s always the nice shirt (button up/polo), a nice pair of pants (khakis/dress pants), and/or jacket option. Ladies, you can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit. All we ask is that you keep in mind this is our wedding celebration and there will be LOTS of photos. *Also, please note that the ceremony and reception will be held outside, weather permitting.*

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony/vow renewal?

Answer

Please arrive around 3:45 pm to allow yourself time to park and find a spot. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm with the reception to immediately follow. During the reception there will be a few seats for people who need them. We ask all other guests to stand for the brief time the ceremony will be occurring.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be ample parking provided for the invited guests. Please keep in mind that there will not be a shuttle service to the hotel but it is only a short Uber or taxi ride away.

Question

What should we get you as a gift?

Answer

As you all know we have been together a long time. This means that we have a lot of the items we need for our home. We did put together two small registries, one through Amazon and one here on Zola. However, as we begin this journey together as husband and wife, we are saving for a home to call our own. Your thoughtful contribution towards our future home would be a wonderful gift as we continue to build our life together.

Registry

The ZOLA registry does have more items on it, as well as a house and honeymoon fund. However, feel free to choose whatever you feel more comfortable using.
