Courtney and Cyril's love story was one that unfolded like a dream. They had been in the same friend circle for years but had never truly crossed paths until one unforgettable evening on March 8, 2021 at Café Matisse in Nassau, Bahamas. It was a birthday dinner and as soon as they started chatting, the spark was undeniable. Just a few days after that night, Cyril reached out to Courtney for their very first date at The Island House for breakfast. When the date ended, they parted ways, neither knowing exactly how life was about to change. Cyril soon left for travel, and Courtney was still in Nassau focusing on work. But Cyril wasn’t one to let distance define the connection they shared. He sent Courtney a thoughtful gift—a glass box with a single rose and a handwritten note. The gesture was small, yet incredibly meaningful. His way of letting her know that she was on his mind. It was then that she realized she hadn’t just met someone special; she had met someone who never made her feel like this before. Courtney returned to New York, and as the days turned into weeks, their bond grew stronger. Their conversations were endless & the love was brewing into something spectacular. When Courtney returned to Nassau for a visit, Cyril made sure to pick her up from the airport. The moment they saw each other, they kissed, and it felt as if everything had fallen perfectly into place... and the rest is history. For the next two years, Cyril and Courtney were inseparable. Even as Courtney traveled the world, dancing and living her dream, their love never faltered. Managing the challenges of long-distance for two years was a choice they both made, but their bond was built on trust, communication, and a shared understanding of each other’s passions. In June of 2023, Courtney made the decision to return home to Nassau. It was a new chapter in their story, one where they could finally build their life together. Then, in October of 2024, in a moment that seemed to encapsulate the very essence of their love, Cyril got down on one knee and asked Courtney the question that had been in his heart for so long: "Will you marry me?" Without a second thought, she said yes. And so, on March 29th, 2025, surrounded by family in a small, intimate ceremony, on the island where their love had begun, they became husband and wife. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a lifetime together. Their story, one that began with a spark, would continue to shine brightly as they walked through life, side by side. ----- The most exciting chapter of this story, will be celebrating that love with all of you! We got to say I do an in intimate setting, but are even more thrilled to celebrate with all of our loved ones. Thank you for your continued love and support. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Flight
This is Toronto's main airport and the closest to the venue! There are multiple direct flights from The Bahamas and major US cities. The airport is approximately 35 minutes from Downtown Toronto.
Flight
This is a secondary option if you are willing to make a longer drive to Toronto! Buffalo Airport is about a 2 HR drive from the airport to Yorkville in Downtown Toronto. But there are some great stops along the way if you want to make a trip out of it. Buffalo is an estimated 35 minutes from Niagara Falls and Niagara falls is an estimated 1 HR 30 minute drive to Downtown Toronto. This isn't the quickest or most efficient travel option if you're looking for shorter travel from the airport to the venue. But if you are willing to make the drive or want to make a trip out of it, this could be a great option for you.

It will be cold in March, but not extremely dangerous temperatures. On average, it tends to be about 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. But, I've also heard that it can change year to year and have very a range in cold temperatures. So please check the weather the week of. Please dress warmly, but also note that the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all taking place inside, in the same hotel. You will not have to go outside at all once you're indoors!
We've provided a room block at The Four Seasons with a limited amount of discounted rooms. We've also shared 2 other hotel options that are within a 5 minute drive of the venue. There are also a lot of Airbnb's in the area if that option works best for you & we've shared a link for those options as well. But please, stay wherever you prefer.

While we would love to celebrate with the little ones that have blessed our lives, we request that they do not attend our wedding ceremony or reception on March 15, 2026. However, we understand that it may be easier to travel with them or turn the trip into a family vacation! We've spoken with The Four Seasons concierge and they've connected us with a highly recommended Babysitting service, Imagine That Care, that they use frequently for guests staying at the hotel if they are at an event or dining downstairs. They also provide babysitting services outside of the hotel in the Toronto & Yorkville Area. If you are interested in this Babysitting service, please reach out to their Managing Director Anita Deville to coordinate. Her email is: anita@imaginethatcare.ca
