Jackson Hole is beautiful in July! Days are typically warm and sunny, with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s, but mornings and evenings can get chilly, sometimes dropping into the 40s. We recommend bringing layers for the mornings and evenings!
July is one of the busiest times of year in Jackson Hole, so we highly recommend making reservations as early as possible. Restaurants, activities, and excursions tend to book up quickly, so if there's something you really want to do while you're in town, we suggest planning ahead!
If you're planning to visit Grand Teton or Yellowstone National Park, you'll need to pay the applicable entrance fee or have a valid park pass. You can purchase passes at the park entrances or look into options ahead of your trip.
We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore Jackson Hole during your stay. Downtown Jackson is very walkable, but you'll want a car to visit Grand Teton National Park, Teton Village, and other areas outside of town. Rental cars can book up quickly in the summer, so we suggest reserving one early.
