Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it and sometimes it finds you twice. We first connected online in 2022 and met in person shortly after. From the beginning, there was an undeniable spark and an easy connection that felt natural and exciting. We talked for a few weeks, but with a lot going on in life at the time, we eventually lost touch. A year later, life had a funny way of bringing us back together. After swearing him off for ghosting the year before, Mike reappeared but this time very intentionally, posting camping videos on TikTok just to get my attention. And it worked. This time around, Mike came back with clarity, consistency, and purpose. He applied pressure, made his intentions loud and clear, and showed up in ways that left no room for doubt. What once felt unfinished turned into something steady, real, and undeniable. Now, here we are choosing each other every day and counting down to forever.

What I thought was just a birthday trip turned into the moment that changed everything. Mike took me on a trip to Aruba a place that reflects our shared love for travel and adventure. What I didn’t know was that he had something much bigger planned. He suprised me and took me to do a beach photoshoot. But during the shoot I turned around, and Mike was on one knee and with Cameras rolling he pulled out a ring. Behind the scenes, our family and friends were watching live on FaceTime from a tripod as he asked me to spend forever with him. Surrounded by love, ocean air, and the people who mean the most to us, I said yes. A birthday celebration became the beginning of our forever.

We didn’t just choose a date the date chose us. November 11th has been part of our story from the very beginning. It’s the day Mike asked me to be his girlfriend the moment it all officially began. Over time, 11:11 became a symbol for us. A reminder of alignment, intention, and choosing each other with clarity and purpose. So when it came time to choose our wedding date, there was no question. 11.11.26 felt like the natural next chapter turning the day our relationship began into the day we say I do. A full circle moment.
