Our Story

I was a server at On the Border while I was home for the summer from College Station. Jackson just wanted some tacos. One day the weather was bad, he was in Rockwall, and sure enough Jackson ended up being one of the only customers in the restaurant. And who other was there to be a perfect server in this instance, than me, Tinsley! Trying to get a good tip and thinking he was pretty cute, I chatted it up with Jackson in between getting him a refill and running his food. And by the end of Jackson's meal, he asked for my number. And if you've made it this far, this is the cover story we have told everyone since we met, but rest assured you will be let in on our real secret meeting story if you are in attendance! Anywaysssss We started talking nonstop, staying up way too late every night, and before I knew it, we had our first date. From that moment on, everything just clicked. Jackson only had two weeks left of his leave, but in those 14 days we managed to squeeze in a lifetime’s worth of memories. We went on sweet little dates, watched sunsets, counted shooting stars, and laughed until our cheeks hurt. I proved my arcade basketball skills are unmatched (a crown I still proudly wear), and on August 8, 2023—one day before he had to head back to Washington—he asked me to be his girlfriend. After that, our love story became a long-distance one. We navigated different states, time zones, and even a 13-hour time difference when he was overseas. Through late-night calls, flight countdowns, and lots of love, our connection only grew deeper. We continuously had to support each other, dream together, and make it work—day by day, with lots of love and patience. Then in June 2024, Jackson totally caught me off guard and proposed. I don’t think I’ve ever been that surprised (or laughed and cried so hard at the same time.) Not long after, we got married and finally ended the airport goodbyes for good. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you—the people who’ve cheered us on, heard all the stories, and probably watched way too many videos of us being sappy. We cant wait to celebrate our love with you all finally!

FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to how big both families are, unless their name was included on your invite, they will not be able to attend our wedding. We want to celebrate with all the people we love! So, plus ones are not allowed unless we state otherwise.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want to see you in your Boho Cowboy Best in your favorite shade of green! This means cowboy boots or comfortable shoes, as our venue is mostly gravel. Hats are always encouraged but never required.

Question

What if I dont RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by July 1st, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up on our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Scroll to the rsvp tab and put your name or someone in your household! if there is more than 2 adults, there may be multiple rsvp's required for one household. Be sure to RSVP "Attending" or "Not Attending" for everyone on your invitation. No RSVP at all will result in you being considered as "Not Attending"

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" but find that you cannot make it, please notify Tinsley as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I share pictures of your big day on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not share any photos on social media of the wedding until either Tinsley or Jackson has had the chance to do so first.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar; however, we ask that you be patient and respectful of our bartender. She's a friend and is a one-woman show!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until after the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present when we say "I Do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise we will share our photos as soon as we receive them!

Question

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our big day! We will have a QR code available on the day of the wedding, and our honeymoon fund on our website should you wish to contribute. We do not have a registry
