Cory was born and raised in Jacksonville. He graduated from FSU (Go Noles), and is a Project Manager for a large environmental engineering firm. He is an adamant hunter and fisherman, and is especially crazy for turkeys. As an avid Jags fan, he is a glutton for punishment. Fortunately, with Carly entering his life, she has brought solace and comfort during the last couple of disheartening seasons. Carly was born in South Florida, grew up in Melbourne, and then spent many years in Gainesville while working as an oncology nurse and completing a Doctorate in Nursing degree at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She has called Jacksonville home since 2021 and currently works for Baptist Health as a Nurse Practitioner, providing primary care for homebound seniors. In her free time she is an avid baker and enjoys making custom cakes, in addition to crafting, enjoying nature, taking Jetty to the dog park, and coffee/cocktails with friends. Mutual friends talked us up for months before our paths finally crossed - eventually meeting while dancing with friends at silent disco. We initially bonded over mutual love of the outdoors, adventure/travel, enjoying time with friends and family, and Cory's dog Sasha. Eventually we moved in together, adopted our dog Jetty after the loss of Sasha, and then Cory proposed on a romantic beach in Madeira, Portugal. During our time together so far we have enjoyed personal and professional successes, welcomed nieces/nephews and friends' babies, enjoyed birthdays/holidays and other celebrations, and stuck together through countless Jags losses. We are excited for this next chapter and feel so lucky to have support of our friends and families as we grow together!

The Ribault Club is a fully-restored historic building that used to be a country club back in the 1920s. Beautiful oaks and azaleas surround the property, with arched doorways, wainscoting, paneled doors and custom woodwork inside. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside, with dinner inside, followed by dancing outside!
The suggested dress code is cocktail attire. The venue is both indoor and outdoor - wedges/block heels recommended as the area is grassy/sandy and some parts may be uneven.
Parking is free and located at the main building at the venue. The venue is located down a long road on a state park - please give yourself extra time to navigate the state park road.
