What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We ask that people please dress in semi-formal or dressy casual attire. For men that means slacks and a button up with or without a jacket and for women, mid or full length dresses or pants. Think garden party formal! The ceremony will be outdoors and in the grass so a light jacket may be needed as well as flats or thicker heels.

Passport/ETIAS

Answer

Passports can take 4-6 weeks to arrive for both new and renewal and must be valid for 3 months after your trip. Check your passports and update in advance if needed. Along with your passport you will need to apply to ETIAS. Their processing time is 1-4 days. It is an online program that will allow you into Europe for a small fee that will be launching sometime in 2025.

Where is the nearest airport?

Answer

The nearest airport is the Florence Airport. From there you can rent a car, arrange for a shuttle, or take the train to Pomarance. Rome is the next closest airport with some direct flights from SFO if you are hoping to avoid layovers.

Where to stay?

Answer

Under the travel page we have recommended a bed and breakfast that is 1/2 mile away from the venue. There are also Airbnbs and hotels in the area. If you are needing any help finding a place to stay please reach out to the bride or groom.

Transportation

Answer

A rental car is recommended for your stay in Italy. The town center of Pomarance is walkable but the wedding venue is on a narrow country road and driving is recommended. Be sure to research driving laws in Italy as they differ from the US.
