Corey and I met because of my (Katharine) bold and courageous personality. Lol just kidding, kinda. I wasn't looking for anything or anyone, but Corey kept popping up on my "suggested friends" on Facebook. I was drawn to him. After about the third time of seeing him pop up, I decided to message him something along the lines of "Hey there. Sorry if this is too forward, but you're very attractive." I tend to be a little impulsive, so with that, I hit send. While anxiously waiting and questioning my word choices, he replied. Within hours, we had our first date planned, then another soon after. Our third date was a drive through Moon Pass in the mountains behind Avery, ID where we talked about life, family, our goals, expectations of a partner, everything. It was/is so easy with him. From that day on, I was stuck. Then... Glacier National Park. This place brought out so many different emotions in us, and was even where we shared our first "I love yous". Since then, we made it a goal to go back every year, trying new things each time. In 2024, our new thing was the Grinnell Glacier hike. This hike is 10-12 miles round trip, up a mountain overlooking 3 gorgeous turquoise lakes. It was our last full day there, so we needed to make it happen, to reach our goal of "new things each time". Well, we did it, we made it to the top. It was stunning, and well worth the aching body and numb feet. After about an hour or so adventuring around the glacier with our new friends who conquered this hike with us, we started to descend down the mountain, taking pictures along the way. We got back to a place with an amazing view and decided we needed a couple more photos of Corey and I. That's when it happened. He got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife! "FINALLY!", I yelled. He knew I was waiting for it, all SEVEN days of this trip.. Lol He had me thinking he changed his mind. I mean, I knew he had the ring and this was our favorite place, so did I do something wrong? NOPE. He just likes to keep me on my toes and my anxiety skyrocketing. One of the reasons I love him so much, I guess. 😅 So with that, I said a quivering "yes", followed by a loud "woo!" that echoed through the mountain range, and we were officially ENGAGED! Luckily for the random people that didn't get to witness it while they were hiking up the trail, I made sure to let them know. 😉 Now we're here, planning our big day with the people that mean the most to us in this world. Those we want around when we say the "I dos" to our forever, and we couldn't be more excited!

Cocktail Attire: (cocktail dresses, suits, button ups and slacks.) Late September may have a slight chill in the air, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater just in case. (:
Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception venue, we respectfully request no children at our wedding celebrations, other than those in the wedding party and immediate family. Thank you for understanding. <3
