Butterflies
Josh proposed on December 11, 2023 in Central Park. I had no inkling of the engagement and Josh's biggest fear is that I would "wear sweatpants" that day... After our trip to the big apple, we headed to Germany. The night we arrived, I said a prayer to Josh's late Oma and Opa. During my prayer, I asked for a sign of their love and approval of our engagement... Blue butterflies. The very next day they started showing up everywhere. Unbeknownst to my prayer, Josh bought a sweater with a blue butterfly covering the back. After he made the purchase I told him about my prayer. Immediately after, we walked past blue butterfly gift wrap. During Christmas season? Unheard of. To this day, whenever we see a blue butterfly it is a gentle reminder of our love, and of those that love us. We are so excited to start our next chapter as newlyweds and we cannot wait to have you join us. It gives us butterflies just thinking about it!
