We first met in an introduction to philosophy class called "God and the Good Life" at Notre Dame where we shared the same discussion group. We were friendly in the class but didn't start spending time together outside of class until the next semester. We officially began dating on April 5th, 2018.
On a Friday afternoon in mid-May, Conrad surprised Melissa with a spontaneous trip to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. On Saturday, after enjoying breakfast at a local diner in the downtown area, Conrad proposed in the pouring rain, overlooking the San Juan River. We spent the rest of the day celebrating at the famous hot springs in Pagosa Springs.
