As we sit here, fingers on the key board, our hearts swell with love and gratitude for each and every one of you. It is because of your unwavering support, love, and friendship that we find ourselves on the cusp of forever, about to embark on the greatest adventure of our lives. And so, in this moment, we want to take a pause and let you all know just how deeply you have touched our souls and to share about our LOVE STORY. It feels like only yesterday that we met at Disneyland, the place where dreams come true. Fate brought us together amidst the whirring of Autopia's engines. Might we add very hot and smelly too. Who would have thought that eight years later, we would be standing here, hand in hand, ready to take the plunge into forever? Life truly is a whimsical journey, and we are grateful every day that we found each other. We remember those early days, when all the girls were vying for Connary's attention. Elizabeth couldn't help but chuckle at the memory, for she knew then that he was someone special. And when we finally moved in together that next summer, our lives intertwined so effortlessly, like two puzzle pieces finally coming together. It was in those moments that we knew we had found our forever home, not just in the space we occupied, but in each others arms. From the very first moment our eyes met, we knew deep down that our love story was destined to be extraordinary. We remember that Halloween party like it was yesterday, the night Elizabeth unknowingly turned his world upside down. Connary, so brave and bold, mustered the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend, only to be initially met with her intoxicated denial. Oh, the irony! Little did we know that fate had other plans for us. Time has flown by, and our love has carried us through countless adventures. From the sun-kissed beaches of San Diego, Laguna (where Connary proposed), and Oregon to the rolling vineyards of Temecula Wine Country, we have left pieces of ourselves in every place we have been. The glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, the vibrant colors of Mexico, and the electric energy of Las Vegas have all played witness to the magic of our love. And now, as we plan our road trip to Oregon/Washington/Canada in June 2024, we are thrilled at the thought of Connary introducing Ballast and Elizabeth to his roots (Washington), and to meet the rest of his family and city that has shaped him into the incredible man he is today. Through it all, one constant source of joy has been our beloved Ballast. The furry son who joined our little family a year into our journey, bringing even more warmth and laughter into our lives. Together, the three of us have embarked on the most incredible adventures, creating memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. But our love, our journey is far from over. In fact, it is only just beginning. With the promise of marriage glimmering on the horizon, we can't help but envision the life we will build together. A life filled with children's laughter, the pitter-patter of tiny feet, and the warmth of a home built on love. We will travel far and wide, exploring every corner of this beautiful world, making memories that will last a lifetime. So, my dearest guests, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being able to join us on our special day on Saturday, April 5th, 2025. Your presence will fill the room with a joy that cannot be contained, and your love will surround us like a warm embrace.
