The Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge is approximately 100 metres long and has a backdrop that falls away thousands of feet below, giving you a greater feeling of exposure and height over land. The Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge offers amazing 360 degree views of the area, both up to the high alpine of the mountains above and down to Howe Sound below.

This former industrial site is now one of Vancouver's most beloved neighborhoods. Practically its own mini-city, Granville Island's former factories now house trendy restaurants, galleries and theaters. But the main draw here is the Granville Island Public Market, often described as one of the best markets in North America.
Stanley Park is a magnificent green oasis in the midst of the urban landscape of Vancouver. Explore the 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest and enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall.
Vancouver’s oldest neighborhood, Gastown is a neighborhood that seamlessly combines old with new, history with the way forward. An essential part of Vancouver’s history, a visit to Gastown should include a stroll along Water Street, where you’ll find a picture-perfect collection of old buildings, cobblestones, the Steam Clock, and vintage lampposts.
Kitsilano, or Kits for short, is a popular and very trendy part of Vancouver that’s home to one of the city’s best beaches and places to walk and cycle. There is also a huge public pool that we went to for an amazing swim with a view!
Enjoy a ferry ride to Bowen Island where you may stumble upon fresh strawberries like we did! Bowen Island is considered to be one of Vancouver's best day-trip and getaway destinations, conveniently located one hour from Downtown Vancouver and a scenic 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay.
Established back in the 1890s, Vancouver’s Chinatown has been humming busily for more than a century with vivid colours, exotic cuisine and a vibrant culture. Vancouver’s Chinese population originally made the journey to work in local mines and build the Trans-Canada railway. You’ll find plenty of classic Asian specialty stores, with their wares piled by the sidewalk for perusing, as well as dim sum restaurants, apothecaries, and tea shops.
Explore Van Dusen Botanical Garden, an inspiring 55 acre outdoor oasis with over 7,500 plant species and varieties. Spot and photograph local wildlife, enjoy the hedge maze with the kids and relax in a serene setting located in the heart of Vancouver.

Entirely up to you! We are grateful for everyone who is making the trip to celebrate our special day, but please also explore all Vancouver has to offer and treat this like a vacation for yourself! We will be exploring the city on Saturday, June 15th and having a marriage celebration that evening that is optional, but recommended as there will be a delicious dinner provided :)!
We recommend staying around North Vancouver or Downtown Vancouver.
We recommend taking an Uber or if you plan on getting a rental car to drive to Lowry Waterfront Park.
We highly recommend renting a car if your budget permits. However, if you have any concerns or limitations in terms of transport, please let us know. As you fly into YVR, you can rent a car from the airport or take an Uber to Deep Cove, North Vancouver, which will be roughly a 40minute drive.
There is limited street parking as it is located in a neighborhood, but if you would like to meet at our airbnb before the ceremony, and take a ride with us, please let us know! We can arrange something.
We are in the midst of providing a transportation plan for our guests.
The reception is a very intimate dinner with a set menu, and a la carte additions. While we will not have a dance floor, we will have plenty of food and libations!
