Granville Island

Granville Island

Vancouver, BC, Canada

This former industrial site is now one of Vancouver's most beloved neighborhoods. Practically its own mini-city, Granville Island's former factories now house trendy restaurants, galleries and theaters. But the main draw here is the Granville Island Public Market, often described as one of the best markets in North America.

Established back in the 1890s, Vancouver’s Chinatown has been humming busily for more than a century with vivid colours, exotic cuisine and a vibrant culture. You’ll find plenty of classic Asian specialty stores, with their wares piled by the sidewalk for perusing, as well as dim sum restaurants, apothecaries, and tea shops.

Answer

Fly into YVR (Vancouver International airport) on Wednesday, June 12th or Thursday, June 13th. The extra time will allow for unforeseen events and also the opportunity to explore the city.

Question

When should I fly back home?

Answer

Entirely up to you! We are grateful for everyone who is making the trip to celebrate our special day, but please also explore all Vancouver has to offer and treat this like a vacation for yourself! We will be exploring the city on Saturday, June 15th and having a marriage celebration that evening that is optional, but recommended as there will be a delicious dinner provided :)!

Answer

We are in the midst of providing a transportation plan for our guests.
