Dive into Love

Optional scuba dive from the hotel area. We will be doing a 2 tank boat dive and are inviting any divers to come join us! If you are interested in trying diving, this could be a good time to do a "sample dive" with one of the instructors at the dive center. Details to come.
Sunset Welcome Cruise

We would like to welcome all of our guests to a sunset cruise as a welcome to Costa Rica and to our wedding. This will be a boat experience on board a catamaran and will include a stop at a beach cove, kayaks, paddle boards, drinks, snacks and of course the sunset! We will be picked up from the beach of the hotel and taken onboard. Don't forget the swimsuits if you want to get in the water!

When should I RSVP by?

We request you RSVP as soon as you can, however the deadline requested by our venue is June 1st.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! The resort is family friendly and kids are welcome at our wedding.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence is our greatest gift and presents are completely optional (we mean it!). If you’d like to send a gift anyway, we have a gift registry set up on our wedding website.

Can I stay at another resort?
Answer
It is recommended to stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort for your convenience. If you choose to stay offsite at another resort or airbnb, please let us know ahead of time so we can ensure you are on the property's guest list and security will let you in.

What airport is the closest to the resort?
Answer
When booking your flight, look for flights to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR). This airport is about 30 - 45 minutes away from the resort. There are multiple direct flights to the US on most major carriers.

Will there be transportation to the resort?
Answer
We are working with the resort to provide shared shuttles for our guests at no cost to you. We will be reaching out to our guests about shuttle details closer to the wedding date. If you'd would like to rent a car or book your own transportation, feel free to do so!

Is there a dress code?

For the ceremony, please come in cocktail attire suitable for the tropical climate. Colors, florals, and light colors and even white (we mean it!) are encouraged.

Plus ones are welcome to come! If you are planning to bring a plus one, please let us know as soon as you can so we can accommodate the extra guest.

What dates should I book my accommodation for?

You are welcome to check in early and stay as long as you would like. We are planning to stay at the resort from August 24th until August 27th.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The weather in August in Costa Rica is on the shoulder of the wet season. This means that at some point you will experience some rain on this trip. Rain tends to come and go, with the majority of showers being in the morning. We will have a plan b location should it rain during our wedding ceremony.
