Flight
Yakima does have a small airport about 10 minutes from the venue however it is normally very expensive to fly into. SeaTac in Seattle is about 2.5 hrs away and there are two different busses that are fairly inexpensive and drive you from the SeaTac airport to the Yakima airport. If you are planning on renting a car I highly suggest flying into Seattle and exploring some of Washingtons beauty driving over the gorgeous Snoqualmie pass.
Travel Note
This is the charter that we normally take to get over the pass. Very convenient and pretty quick. There are a couple other bus options but I have found this is the nicest way to travel to Yakima.

Our ceremony will take place outside at Cascade Garden, with a reception to follow. There will be an air conditioned building to escape the heat if necessary.
We’re asking our guests to join us in semi-formal attire. For men, this could mean dress pants with a button-up shirt and optional tie or blazer. For women, a cocktail dress, skirt and blouse, or a stylish jumpsuit would be perfect. Given the warm time of year for our outdoor ceremony, we recommend choosing lightweight fabrics like linen or cotton.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:15pm PST, so we recommend arriving by 4:45pm PST to find your seat and settle in.
There is plenty of parking available at the venue, there will be a parking attendant to assist with any parking concerns on the day of.
Yes, We look forward to sharing our day with all of our loved ones (littles included). Please make sure to include them when RSVPing so we can include them in the headcount.

There are several hotels around the area. We have not yet contacted any to block off rooms for the event. Details regarding options in the area will be added in the next few months.
We’ve put together a variety of options that should cater to most dietary needs. When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any specific restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate within reason. While we want everyone to enjoy the meal, we kindly ask for your understanding if certain requests cannot be met.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ll have a photographer capturing the special moments that we will happily share with all of you after the wedding.
We’ll miss you! If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our plans accordingly.
We are planning the bridal shower and rehearsal dinner prior to the wedding, and we will have brunch the following day. Details will be provided to those invited closer to the date.
Yakima weather in July is usually pretty warm. Even though the ceremony will start later in the afternoon and is fully shaded, guests should be prepared for a hot evening.
