Hotel
All weekend events take place on the hotel property. We have a block of rooms available at the hotel for those who want the resort experience; you can book those rooms through the link below. Room block rates are also available for the 3 days prior as well as 3 days after our festivities in case you wish to extend your stay. (Note: prices listed now include all taxes and fees.)
House Or Rental
There are also several privately owned condos available on the hotel property for groups who want to stay together or for those seeking a more economical option. Guests at these condos have access to many (not all) of the same amenities as hotels guests and are just a few minutes' walk away. We've run an initial search on VRBO where you can book at the link below.
House Or Rental
The same as above, but Airbnb, if that's your preference. We've run an initial search on Airbnb where you can book at the link below.
Flight
You will need to fly in and out of Honolulu International Airport (HNL), which is about 50 minutes from the hotel. With HNL being the largest airport hub in Hawaii, there should be plenty of flight options from various locations, but if you need help with your travel plans, let us know. If desired, there is a daily shared public shuttle service from the airport to the hotel at 12pm and from the hotel to the airport at 10am, which can be reserved at the link below. If you'd like to reserve a private shuttle with other wedding guests, please copy and paste the following URL to sign up: https://tinyurl.com/5t4zzywv
Rental Car
There are 10 different rental car companies in one location across from Terminal 2 at the airport. This is a great option for those who prefer to drive to the hotel property instead of taking the shuttle or rideshare, and have flexibility throughout their time on the island. Click here to see what companies are available and book with your preferred company or through a booking site like Expedia. Please note: rental cars are usually in high demand so we recommend reserving as soon as possible.
Rental Car
The hotel offers car rentals from their property as well. This is a great option for those who want a little flexibility to explore the north shore of the island during their stay without having to pay for a rental car for the whole time.
Travel Note
We intentionally chose October as it's down-season for Hawaii and our hope is that travel costs will be more affordable for our guests compared to peak seasons Summer and Winter. That said, Hawaii is a popular destination and we recommend making your reservations as early as possible to lock in the best rates.
The biggest town on the north shore and a haven for surfers around the world, Hale'iwa is full of restaurants, boutiques, and surf shops.
A beautiful, lush valley tucked between the mountains with gardens, hiking trails, and waterfalls, as well as hawaiian cultural and historical sites.
One of many shrimp trucks scattered along Kamehameha Highway on the north shore, this one was the first. We recommend the shrimp scampi!
A living museum and cultural attraction that highlights the history, traditions, food, and language of Hawaii. Family-friendly and good for anyone interested to learn and experience more of the native culture.
The north shore of Oahu has some of the best and most famous beaches in the world! We encourage you to explore if the beach is calling your name. Some highlights are: Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, and Papa'iloa Beach.
You could very well keep yourself busy with all of the amenities, available activities, pools, and beaches on the resort property. While some are reserved for guests of the hotel, others—like golf, hiking trails, and the beach—are open to anyone.
We understand that this destination is a long way for some to travel and we hope that those who choose to join us will find the opportunity to enjoy time in such a beautiful and special place.
Absolutely. We'd love for you to join us for whichever days work with your schedule.
Awesome! If you book the hotel through our room block, you will have access to discounted room rates for both 3 days prior as well as 3 days after the weekend festivities. Have at it!
We are fortunate to have all of the things we need. Knowing that many of our friends and family members would consider joining us to celebrate is gift enough. If you still choose to send a gift, we will humbly accept support for our future home fund or travel fund.
We would appreciate knowing your plans as soon as possible in order to support us in our planning process.
We would like to keep our celebration as intimate as possible in order to spend quality time with our people. We have tried to be extremely thoughtful in creating our guest list and are prioritizing family members and our very closest friends before accommodating additional guests.
While you are welcome to create a family vacation out of your time on the island, we ask that our wedding events remain adults only. We have information on local child care options that we would be happy to provide if you need it.
We will be serving food family style. Please let us know if you have a serious allergy that needs to be accommodated.
With the understanding that our families and friends are so spread out, and most of our guests would have to take time off and travel regardless, we opted for a destination that we hoped many would be interested to visit anyway. Jess and Robbie both enjoy tropical locations and bonded early on in their relationship about being beach people. Hawaii, in particular, is a special place for Jess and her family with their Hawaiian heritage and many family members living in the islands.
We want our celebration to feel representative of us as a couple. Our intent is for our guests to feel casual and comfortable. Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. Aloha (Beach) Attire: Wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals.
