How We Met
I know most of you won't believe this, but we met at church for a baptism in Virginia (Thank you, Shawn and Aila). It was not love at first sight, it was 'oh, you're from El Paso?'. Followed by fun dates and a looming deployment, we remained friends. After leaving the military, our long distance relationship began and it was full of adventurous trips, video calls and long conversations on the phone. And now, YEARS LATER, we're FINALLY getting married.

We’re kicking off the wedding weekend at my Parent's house starting around 6:30 PM. Come over for some food, drinks, and a chance for everyone to meet before the big day so its not awkward when we sit you with strangers. We promise God will forgive you if you're buzzed at church. See you then!

Family Beach Day! We’ll be at the beach (First Landing State Park) starting at 2 PM for anyone who wants to sober up in the sun. No pressure at all, we promise we wont judge you if you cant hang anymore—just a low-key afternoon to catch some sun and chisme.

The best airport to fly into is Norfolk International Airport (ORF). It’s approximately 20–25 minutes from most areas in Virginia Beach and about 20 minutes from Portsmouth. ORF offers rental cars, Uber/Lyft, and quick access to the hotels we’ve recommended.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, it would not be a Fun, Hispanic wedding if kids are not passed out on chairs at the end of the night. Additional 10 points if they cry during the ceremony.

While June is beach season, we kindly request you keep the bikinis in the drawers. Please 'Dress to Impress' and join us in your best cocktail attire—suits, ties, cocktail dresses, or dressy separates are perfect!

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! Lluvia de Sobres: We have set up a digital fund on this website for our future adventures, and we will also have a physical envelope box at the reception for those who prefer the tradition in person.
