Claire and Jeremy’s story began in the digital space. They first connected on Tinder while living 50 miles apart. Claire in West LA and Jeremy in Huntington Beach. Somehow, they never quite managed to be in the same place at the same time. Claire went on with her life (or at least tried), though Jeremy lingered in the back of her mind, a connection that felt unfinished. Then one night, without any planning, they both ended up at the Wayfarer. Finally, their worlds overlapped. In that unexpected moment, Claire spotted Jeremy, walked right up to him, and said, “Hey, you’re Jeremy from Tinder!”. What could have been just a passing encounter stayed with both of them long after the night ended. Soon enough, Jeremy found Claire on Facebook (now a slightly funny reminder of how long ago this all began). T'was Claire who sent the first message: “hey i remember u…” playing it cool, of course. From there, everything clicked. Their conversations became constant and easy. They discovered how passionate they were about creative work, that their humor aligned, and how effortless it felt to just be themselves with each other. On July 2, 2016, during Fourth of July weekend, they had their first real date and the rest really did start to fall into place. For Claire, that night is forever etched in her heart. She remembers lying in Jeremy’s lap, gazing into his eyes, feeling a sense of calm and wonder she had never known before. It was the beginning of something deeply real. And from that moment on, they have remained just as enamored with each other (and more) as they were in the very beginning. Along the way came countless inside jokes and favorite movie quotes, including Nacho Libre “I need to borrow some sweats”, which is still said frequently on a cold winter's eve. Their love for each other naturally turned into a love for adventure. In 2017, they took their first big trip together to Bali, followed by Tulum in 2019. Between then and now, they’ve made memories all over: road trips up and down the California coast, sunny escapes to Hawaii, cozy visits to Colorado to see family, and of course a few trips to Mexico. In 2023, they set sail on an unforgettable yacht trip through the British Virgin Islands with great company and insane oceanic views, head down snorkeling for hours till they pruned. Later that year, in November 2023, Jeremy completely surprised Claire with a proposal on a secluded private beach called Kokomo in New Zealand (safe to say, she said yes). In 2025, they added Portugal and Azores to their growing list of favorite places, continuing a tradition of exploring the world side by side. Through every trip, every laugh, and every quiet moment in between, Claire and Jeremy have built a love rooted in child-like laughter, adventure, and genuine joy in simply being together…while holding hands. This is just the beginning, and they are so excited for a fulfilling life ahead. Through every joyful moment and challenge which only makes them stronger.
