Hotel

Residence Inn by Marriott Ann Arbor Downtown

120 West Huron Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104

Please book with our room block by April 22nd to receive our discounted rate. We are able to offer two nights for guests interested in staying downtown, Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd. There is a planned delay between our 3pm ceremony and 5pm cocktail hour to allow guests to easily make their 4pm check-in. The Residence Inn provides a complimentary breakfast buffet, free wifi, and a pool. It is also 2 blocks away from our wedding reception at Old Town so you can park your car and truly enjoy the party!

Travel Note

Michigan Flyer

The Michigan Flyer offers bus service from DTW airport to the Blake Transit Center in downtown Ann Arbor for $15. This option means you will arrive 0.4 miles from your hotel.

Train

Amtrak

For friends coming from the Detroit, Kalamazoo, or Chicago areas, the Amtrak is an eco and budget friendly way to join us in Ann Arbor. This option means you will arrive 0.6 miles from your hotel.

FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 19, 2026.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Smart casual attire is appreciated. As our ceremony will be hosted at home and our reception takes place at Old Town, we are hoping you will take this as an opportunity to wear that cute dress that never feels “right” or the fun button down you always consider for brunch. Please be comfortable!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We request only small children that are included in our wedding processional. However, if you are struggling to find a sitter for your little ones, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

Will food will be provided?

Answer

There will be small bites throughout the evening, as well as cake and drinks. If you would prefer a heartier meal, we encourage you to eat beforehand or enjoy one of the many restaurants downtown at any point.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be a designated parking location on-site for our ceremony. As our reception is downtown, we recommend a nearby flat lot (Liberty & Ashley or Ashley & Huron), parking garages, or try your luck for nearby street parking.

Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.

Our officiant and best man of honor, Dan Rinkoski, has been close friends with Ian since kindergarten. As luck would have it, he accidentally crashed our first date and we have been having adventures together ever since. We are honored to have him preside over our union.
