Trisha was giving a Pediatric Airway Emergency talk to Taos Ski Patrol and Chris happened to be sitting in front of her. Trish needed a model to demonstrate how to hold a child to look inside their mouth and ended up using Chris as that model which ended up being the first time they met and their first hug.

How we met

Chris and Trish went to Placencia Belize for what Trish thought was an ordinary vacation in a beautiful place. Trish thought Chris was taking her to the resort restaurant but instead led her to the beach where she then thought they were going for a walk before dinner. 
She saw a beach dock set up with flowers, beautiful lighting and a table set for two. She was quite surprised when Chris led her to the dock and thought what an amazing place to have dinner. She was not expecting at all what happened next…Chris got down on bended knee and proposed and she happily excepted.
