It was the first week of spring semester 2017. I began the face numbing walk from my Dinkytown apartment to the basement of the Molecular Biology Building, completely unaware that I was about to meet my future wife. I found my assigned seat in the lab for my new class, Biology of Sex (yes, seriously - you can't make this stuff up). As luck would have it, Christina was assigned to sit across the table from me in our four-person pod. I was struck by her beauty and charmed by her witty, sarcastic sense of humor. We grew closer over the course of the semester over coffee, study sessions, and walking around campus together. We were official by the summer, and the rest is history. - Marcus
