JJ & Christina met on a night out at J's Down Under in Buffalo, MN on May 30th, 2014. Christina, likely jamming to the jukebox, looked up from the booth to see a man standing up at the bar with these pretty blue eyes, the biggest smile, and popping off the most hilarious comments to her mom and dad. Christina walked up to the bar and started talking to this handsome pie, and quickly they hit it off. JJ's quick wit had Christina rolling in laughter, and JJ was intrigued by Christina's big brown eyes, intuition, and how absolutely beautiful she was. Christina invited JJ to an after party at Maria and James', as they walked hand in hand to the house, they stopped to have the sweetest kiss by the rail road tracks. To their surprise when they got home, there was nobody there for the "party" that Christina thought. They had the most incredible next 3 days together, intermittently standing under an umbrella outside in the rain, and knew in their hearts that this was real, true love. May 31st, 2014 is when JJ and Christina first said "I love you", and were committed to one another since. They were soulmates, and it was love at first sight. JJ wanted to get married the 1st year they were together, but Christina thought "Let's see how this goes, he is kind of a wild child". Ten years later, JJ proposed to Christina in the exact spot where they first met, at J's Down Under. .......Obviously, Christina said "YES!!!" :D
